Bogotá is making the final preparations to host the 2024 Cordillera Festival, which will be held in Simón Bolívar Park on September 14 and 15. For two days, the public will enjoy various musical genres by national and international artists, in performances ranging from hip-hop to cumbia. Here’s what you need to know about the weekend’s event.

The first concerts of the Cordillera Festival will start each day at around 1:30 p.m. They will take place on four stages, and the last tickets and combos are still available. on the eticket platform.

On Saturday, September 14, attendees will be able to see Juan Luis Guerra, Hombres G, Miranda!, Vilma Palma and Vampires, Canalón de Timbiquí, Zoe Gotusso, Nicolle Jadad, Lalo Cortés, Simon Grossman, Los Mirlos, Bersuit Vergarabat, Bacilos, Juliana, Kinky, Mala Rodríguez, Mexican Institute of Sound, The Skatalites, Systema Solar, Morodo & Okoumé Lions, La Vela Puerca, Providencia, Los Yoryis and Spektra de la Rima.
Then, on Sunday the 15th, the following bands will be performing: The Fabulous Cadillacs, Fonseca, Molotov, Rels B, Babasonicos, He Killed a Policeman on a Motorcycle, My Invincible Friend, La Severa Matacera, La Konga, Andrés Correa, Damned Neighborhood, León Larregui, Trueno, José Madero, Airbag, The Right, Bandalos Chinos, You Point It Out to Me and Omara Portuondo & La Failde.

Where to watch live concerts
The 2024 Cordillera Festival will be broadcast live on Disney+. Through a statement, the streaming platform streaming announced that subscribers will have access to the concerts of the renowned Latin American festival. The broadcast on Saturday, September 14 will begin at 2:00 p.m., Colombian time; while on Sunday, September 15, it will begin at 3:30 p.m.
TransMilenio’s night bus service
The public transport service TransMilenio has announced that There will be three provisional routes from Simón Bolívar Park to different points in the city to facilitate the return of attendees once the event is over.
During the two days of the festival – Saturday and Sunday – buses will be available from 11:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. on the following routes:
- Septimazo Route: will depart from Simón Bolívar Park, take the NQS heading south, 26th Street to the east and 7th Avenue north to 94th Street. It will return again via the NQS.
- Unicentro/Bulevar Route: Leave Simón Bolívar Park on Avenida 68 heading north; then take Carrera 15 north to Unicentro, take Calle 127 to Bulevar, and take Avenida Suba south to Avenida 68.
- May 1st Route: will leave from Simón Bolívar Park, take Carrera 50 south, and then Esperanza Avenue west, to go to Boyacá Avenue south and end at Primero de Mayo Avenue.
Transportation will cost 2,950 pesos charged to the transportation card Tullave. Mobility authorities recommend that passengers bring a previously recharged card to facilitate access to buses. If you do not have a card, you can purchase a plastic card at any TransMilenio portal or station for 8,000 pesos, plus the cost of the corresponding recharge.
Finally, Prohibited items at the festival This includes football team shirts and flags (national flags are allowed as long as they do not have flagpoles). Pets, musical instruments, professional cameras, cigarettes, umbrellas, vaporizers, weapons and camping equipment will also not be allowed.
