The Tuzos of Club Pachuca are going through a difficult moment in the current Clausura 2023 tournament of the Liga MX lAfter confirming that they will lose Colombian defender Óscar Murillo for the remainder of the championship after having successfully undergone surgery on his left knee.

The information was released by the Hidalguense team through a press release shared on their social networks, where they reported on the progress made by the medical staff to be able to treat him and recover as soon as possible.

The Pachuca Football Club hereby informs that the soccer player from Los Tuzos: Óscar Murillo, underwent surgery successfully for a meniscal remodeling and joint cleaning of the left knee, in which the CEMA Clinic, endorsed by FIFA, at the facilities of the Football University”, explained the club.

According to the diagnosis issued by Dr. Fernando Márquez, Director of Club Pachuca Medical Services, the recovery period is expected to be 4 weeks, depending on their clinical evolution,” the text added.

Murillo has been presenting serious physical problems since the start of the Clausura 2023 tournament of Liga MX, a fact that has caused him to only play a total of six games as a precautionary measure by the coaching staff to avoid an even more serious injury.

His last game was last Sunday, March 12, in the game played against Rayados de Monterrey at the Hidalgo Stadium.a duel that ended up losing the Pachuca team.

Murillo will be able to return for the Liguilla of the current championship as long as the Tuzos manage to advance to the quarterfinals.
