The technical director of Paris Saint Germain (PSG), Christophe Galtier, held a press conference after the team’s training session this Friday, where he spoke about the controversy that was generated by the message of striker Kylian Mbappé; the fact has caused a doubt about the possible departure of him from the team to a new institution.
“Obviously it worries Kylian and the club. Today he has interrupted the training with discomfort in the hip, but that is not going to compromise their participation in Nice. I know that there have been many discussions between management and Kylian. The incident is cleared up,” he said.
“The president has come to see us and has spoken in the locker room. Everything said in the locker room stays in the locker room. But it was important that the president was there,” added the strategist.
Regarding the crisis of results that PSG is currently experiencing, Galtier invited all members of the squad to better follow the instructions that are issued prior to matches in order to maintain control on the field of play.
“We must be much more respectful of the instructions and the game plan, because we fail in the organization but also in the commitment“, held.
“I have my share of responsibility, the coach and his coaching staff, the players too. When I spoke to the players at the beginning of the week, I mentioned the parts of responsibility”, recounted the coach of the Parisian team.
Finally, the coach maintained that they should go out on the field with the idea of being better than their rivals in order to have an excellent performance, something that has affected them in recent days.
“We have to be much better than what we have been doing lately, with a little more initiative, a lot more effort. and having a lot of balance. We also conceded too many goals ”, he concluded.
