Bron Breakker has gone badass.
Tonight’s WWE NXT Post-Stand & Deliver edition closed with a celebration for Trick Williams and new NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes, who became champion by defeating Breakker at NXT Stand & Deliver on Saturday in Los Angeles.
Hayes finished talking about how he respects Breakker, then called him out to the ring. The two superstars continued to show mutual respect to end the show. Breakker called on the fans to give up on the new champion while Trick promoted Hayes as The A Champ. Hayes’ music started and Bron went to leave the ring, but Hayes cut the music off and then offered Breakker his hand. They shook hands and hugged, then Hayes’ music started up again as Breakker raised Hayes’s arm in the air, and Trick went back to promoting The A Champ as the fans cheered them all on.
Breakker suddenly attacked Hayes with a lasso. Trick got close, but Breakker pressured him into the air and hits him. Breakker then ran over Hayes with a spear as the boos grew louder from the crowd. Trick and Hayes were in the middle of the ring as a heated Breakker looked on from the platform. Fans chanted “one more time!” when NXT went off the air.
No word yet on when the Breakker vs. There is. The next NXT Premium Live Event is Battleground, scheduled for Sunday, May 28 from the Tsongas Center in Lowell, MA.
