Bolsonaro traveled to Orlando (Florida) on December 30 in a kind of self-imposed exile. Since then, there has been speculation about how long he could spend without returning to Brazil. His wife, Michelle Bolsonaro, and his daughter returned to Brazil at the end of January, but the unknown about the former president remains open. His eldest son, Senator Flávio Bolsonaro, delved into uncertainty two weeks ago: “There is no forecast, he is the one who knows. He may be tomorrow, in six months, he may never come back. I don’t know,” he stated.

The event this Saturday in Florida was held in Portuguese and was attended by a multitude of Bolsonaro supporters. It was organized by the right-wing group Sí Brasil USA and Bolsonaro has been cheered throughout the event, according to AP.
