The main suspect in killing one person and injuring four others in a shooting in atlanta (Georgia, USA) was arrested by the authorities on the afternoon of this Wednesday.
The local Police Department confirmed the arrest in social networks. The arrest occurred hours after the event, which took place in an office building belonging to a medical company.
According to The Washington Post, the suspect, Deion Patterson, 24, shot at least five people on the 11th floor of the office building, killing a 39-year-old woman and injuring the rest.
Patterson had gone to the building for a doctor’s appointment with his mother. At one point, the man became agitated and started shooting.
After the shooting he stole a vehicle and fled the scene, his mother collaborated with the authorities to get him arrested after several hours of an intense search.
Police even offered a $10,000 reward. for information that he brought to his arrest.
