Duplantis, 24, dominated the competition from the beginning without much complication. Later, the Swede, who is undefeated in the indoor season, secured the victory with a jump of 5.82 meters, even before breaking his own record, previously mentioned. The American Sam Kendricks, two-time world champion, was his closest pursuer, but without managing to exceed 6 meters in any of his attempts.
