Angela Leiva had to go through many negative experiences. For this reason, in an interview she had with Socios del Espectáculo she spoke in depth about what happened to her. She also referred to the recent separation from her partner.
First of all, she clarified that everything she experienced over the years helped her to be who she is today: “It is what drives me every day of my life because I am always thinking about that Angela that I was and that I don’t want to go back to.”.
The artist also described what she was like before: “Totally blind. But blind well. Loving and trusting a person with whom you share your life, your career. Those were many years and many years of my best moment of growth. That is worked on in therapy.”.
On the moment that changed his life, he said: “At that moment I thought about not singing anymore, or changing my name. It was more like starting from scratch, being another person. But my parents chose my name. There is something much deeper, about an identity, about why sometimes people allow so much to others, right?”.

Regarding her separation from her boyfriend, Angela said: “I split up with Gabi a few days ago, a month ago. It didn’t happen overnight, don’t think that I just woke up one day and said ‘I want to split up’. There are a lot of pages that had our names, so I said ‘I’m going to let you know’, because there came a time when we weren’t posting any more photos.”.
And I add: “He is a great person, he is a very good person and he has a beautiful family. I always felt very comfortable. But sometimes it is not so easy to accompany someone who has a job like mine. Beyond the fact that he is a musician, he is not on stage like I am.”.
