Tadej Pogacar has won the 20th stage of the Tour de France, the penultimate of the French round this year, which will finish in Nice tomorrow, the first time in history that it will not be in Paris. The Slovenian, who has thus won his fifth stage, will be the winner of the race, the third Tour for him, followed by Jonas Vingegaard, who will be second. Behind him, Remco Evenepoel, who today lost 53s at the finish, after an attack by Vingegaard on the last climb. The Dane sought and managed to increase the gap in the general classification with respect to the Belgian, now separated by almost three minutes, which allows the Visma cyclist to have a little more peace of mind for tomorrow’s time trial between Monaco and Nice, a terrain that a priori is more favourable for Evenepoel.
