Amrita Iyer was born on 14 May 1994 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu to a Tamil family. Raised in Bangalore, Karnataka. She completed her Bachelor of Commerce degree from St. Joseph’s College of Commerce. After that she became a model and continued her career as an actress in Tamil and Telugu languages.
Linga, Tenaliraman in 2014; In 2016, the actress acted in many unknown roles in films like Pokkiri Raja and Teri. Padaiveeran made her debut as a lead actress opposite Vijay Yesudas in 2018, where she played the role of Malar.
Later she played the lead opposite Vijay Antony in Kaali. She will make her Kannada debut in 2019 with Vinay Rajkumar starrer Gramayanam. But the project was stopped when the producer got Covid. She played the role of Tamil Nadu football team captain Thendral in Vijay Dalapathy’s Bigil directed by Atlee.
In 2021, she made her Telugu film debut opposite Ram Pothineni in Red directed by Kishore Tirumala. In the same year, she acted as the heroine in the film 30 Days Amrudamdam Ela starring Telugu star anchor Pradeep Machiraju as the hero. In the same year, she acted opposite Vishnu in the movie Arjuna Phalguna.
Recently Sankranthi was released on January 12th, Telugu superhero film Hanuman, which impressed Teja Sajjak as the lead role. The film became a blockbuster and became the Sankranti winner this year.
