Amal Clooney became this past Thursday the protagonist of the DVF Awards given in Venice. The lawyer was one of the winners of this edition of the awards founded by the designer Diane von Furstenberg, whose purpose is to recognize the work of extraordinary women who transform the lives of other people.
Amal, who received the DVF Leadership Award, attended the event accompanied by her husband George Clooney, with whom she will celebrate their ninth wedding anniversary this September, which took place precisely in Venice.
The couple starred in some romantic images during this evening in which Amal dazzled with a beautiful vintage dress by John Galliano. The lawyer became the most elegant guest of the night with a lingerie design that the designer created in the year 2000 when he was creative director of Dior.
A piece in powdery pink that had a V-neckline with a lace detail and thin straps, one of the most characteristic details of the slip dress which is back in fashion. In addition, the design had a delicate skirt with an asymmetrical hem full of lace and an overskirt with a satin strap that functioned as a belt that highlights her silhouette and from which a layer of tulle emerged that added a romantic touch to her acclaimed style.
The lawyer completed the look with metallic sandals from Aquazzura, to match her small handbag, and long earrings that ended with a piece in powdery pink, the same tone as the dress.
As for her beauty look, Amal opted for an elegant semi-updo with a parting on one side and makeup with glittery pink shadows to illuminate her eyes and nude lips.
