His wife Hilaria confirmed that the star received a hip replacementbecause for months he had pain that prevented him from doing his daily activities.
“Alec got a new hip today. it was needed for a long time. We have been through a lot together. As your partner and as you improve, I strongly hope that you will put this bout of severe chronic pain behind you and improve your quality of life.“Hilaria wrote on her Instagram account.
