Orange Cassidy opens the AEW Dynamite show receiving a standing ovation from the public after losing the AEW International Championship.
▪Cassidy comments that they told him to stay at home, but he has refused and has come here.
▪Cassidy leaves and runs into Jon Moxley, who is going to defend the AEW International Championship against AR Fox.

Jon Moxley retained the AEW International Championship against AR Fox by count of three.
▪After the match, Darby Allin steps into the ring, shakes hands with Fox, and Nick Wayne watches from backstage.
▪Christian Cage and Luchasaurus approach Wayne and Cage tells him that if he wants a better mentor than Allin, maybe he should look at a champion, referencing himself.


Kris Statlander defeated the TBS Championship next against Emi Sakura.

Roderick Strong is interviewed and talks about his parents and the personal problems they have had with alcohol.
▪Strong had to take care of himself and wrestling gave him the opportunity to be someone and it’s everything to him.

Les Sex Gods (Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara) won Aussie Open.
▪After the fight, there are tensions between Guevara and Jericho due to misunderstandings during the fight.
▪Don Callis and Konosuke Takeshita are interviewed backstage next to a painting with their next target, but it’s covered.

The AEW World Champion, MJF goes up to the ring to give a promo in which he remembers that he lived in Indiana (the city where the show is held today) when he was on the independent scene.
▪MJF assures that whoever wins the AEW World Championship will realize that no one is at their level.
▪The champion was going to address Samoa Joe now, but he precisely interrupted, went up to the ring and asked him what the problem was.
▪MJF responds that Joe must have left because he has confused his music with that of an ice cream truck.
▪Joe says that the last time he had anything to do with it, he was being the biggest star on another television.
▪Samoa Joe keeps calling MJF “boy” and he gets fed up and tells him that the next time he calls him “boy” he’s going to put his teeth down his throat.
▪MJF slaps him and Joe responds that he knows that he is trying to provoke him, so he will simply win the tournament and win the AEW World Championship.
▪MJF leaves, but Joe attacks him from behind. Max recovers and lands a low blow, but Joe recovers and finishes off MJF causing more damage to Max’s neck.
▪Adam Cole comes out and makes Joe leave. The medics head out to treat MJF while Cole is worried about him and Samoa Joe walks off laughing.

Roderick Strong makes his entrance to the ring and runs into Adam Cole and an ill-fated MJF.

Roderick Strong defeated Trent Beretta to advance to the semifinals of the tournament for a shot at the AEW World Championship.

Renee Paquette interviews Toni Storm and asks her about the moment she cost Ruby Soho the TBS Championship match on All Out.

‘Hangman’ Adam Page makes his way into the ring to be interviewed by Toni Schiavone, who congratulates him on his victory at All Out in Battle Royale which gave him $50,000 to donate to whatever charity he wanted.
▪Page thanks AEW for giving him the opportunity to do this.
▪Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana interrupt and go up to the ring.
▪Swerve says the first person he noticed after spending two weeks in a coffin and putting everything in perspective.
▪Page turns around, pushes Swerve and Brian Cage comes out and attacks Adam from behind.


In the main event for AEW Dynamite, Darby Allin defeated Nick Wayne in the quarterfinals of the tournament via submission for a shot at the AEW World Championship.
