Andrés Iniesta announces his farewell to football this Tuesday at 12:00 pm at the America’s Cup Experience at Port Vell in Barcelona. The midfielder, whose career has made him one of the most admired and loved players in Spanish football, has made it public through his social networks that he is hanging up his boots. “For me, football has been everything,” he says in the video. At only 12 years old he arrived at La Masia from his native Fuentealbilla (Albacete). It was difficult for him to adapt to his new club, but with it he won 32 titles during the 17 seasons he was at Barça, including 4 Champions Leagues. Although one of the midfielder’s most iconic moments was the goal with which Iniesta in the 116th minute proclaimed the Spanish Soccer Team champion of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
