Video legends are those lines of text that appear to reveal or that are being played by the presenter or narrator. O Instagram has native tools that allow you to place legends on reels or other videos in Feed and Stories.
To produce video on Instagram, the legend can be added automatically or manually. The reel editor allows you to adjust the appearance and spelling of legends.
Another option to make videos with legends on Instagram is to use CapCut. The ByteDance editing application also allows you to adjust the design and potentiate errors generated with the automatic legend.
Instagram still allows you to activate automatic legends on reels and videos in the Feed, if the author of the content does not have this process during the creation of the post.

1. Access the Reel settings before publishing the video
In the “Novo Reel” section, before publishing content on Instagram, scroll down the app screen and tap the “Settings” option.
2. Activate the “Show Legends” option to display automatic transcription
Scroll down to the “Advanced Settings” screen and find the “Acessibility” section and click on the “Show Legends” option. Touch the left button, on the top left corner, to return to the “New Reel” section.

Is it possible to generate automatic captions for Story on Instagram?
Instagram Stories do not have a resource to include automatic captions. One solution is to use the Reels tools or the CapCut app to generate video captions and save your cell phone gallery. Afterwards, publish a Story on Instagram with your legendary content.
Is it possible to make reels with music legends on Instagram?
Sim. You can publish a Reels video with a music legend like it happens with the posts in Stories. To do this, tap “Add Audio” when editing or Reel to select the lyrics section of a music and select two styles.
What is the difference between the automatic legends of Reels and CapCut?
Both the automatic legends of Reels and CapCut draw similar resources. For example, people can correct texts generated by AI and the apps themselves synchronize audio and text.
The Reels tool is ideal for users who want to make all their edits in a single app. The customization options also follow the Instagram patterns. Therefore, it is only possible to legend contents within 90 seconds (duration limit of a reel).
No CapCut, all videos are saved for possible future edits. In addition to more customization options, you can legend contents of up to 30 minutes. It is also possible to use the app to post directly on Instagram, TikTok and other social networks.
Can you remove captions from Instagram videos?
It is not enough to remove captions from Instagram videos edited with Reels tools in the CapCut app. In these cases, the legend is part of the video that was uploaded to the social network. The automatic legend generated by the Instagram accessibility feature can be deactivated at any time.
