A Teen A 13-year-old in Danville, Virginia was charged in the death of his brother 4 years old, according to the police department.
“A charge of first degree murder after further investigation stemming from the confession of the minor earlier this week about the victim’s suffocation,” the department reported on its Facebook account.
According to the police report, the agents responded in August 2022 to a call at a residence where they found a 4-year-old boy in one of the rooms without a pulse and without breathing. The boy was taken to SOVAH Health in Danville before being airlifted to another medical center, where he died.
The teen accused of murder was transferred to the WW Moore Detention Center to await trial.
