Through his podcast, Road Dogg made it clear that Samoa Joe has unfinished business in WWE.

During 2021 and 2022, WWE started a huge wave of layoffs in the company. Said wave included fighters, scriptwriters, creatives, workers, presenters, trainers from the Performance Center, etc. where the reason for making this wave by the company was for “budget cuts.”

One of the people affected was Samoa Joe, and twice as well. Recently, Road Dogg was chatting on his podcast called Oh … You Didn’t Know and stated that there is still a lot that Joe could achieve if he chooses to return to WWE, especially now that Triple H is in charge of the creative direction.

100% there is more for Samoa Joe in WWE. It’s money no matter where you look at it. He’s a great promo, I believe every word he says, he speaks well, he’s a big tank of a man, he can fly like a bumblebee. It’s amazing how much money is left on the table.

Currently, Samoa Joe is under contract with AEW, where he has participated in both AEW and ROH where he has won championships in both promotions.
